Completely forgot to write this up, so a quick precis... AG#5 is an IPA with Summit and Cascade hops and a complex grain bill (FOUR grains). I've stuck with my Summit and Cascade combination as it's in the freezer and I'm trying not to open more until I have some space, or the brewing fridge in the garage. The brew itself was straightforward and came in with an OG of 1051, a little bit lower than I was aiming for but still in the right area. The Esky mash tun doesn't seem to retain heat as well as it might but if pay more attention to the heat calculations and be less impatient with the boiler I might get somewhere, It's been in FV for eight days now with not a lot of activity so I'm going to test later today and dry hop.
